Tasty Salami & Pepperoni Asparagus Roll-Ups

Hard Salami and pepperoni-wrapped asparagus fries. Another creative way to eat asparagus. I came up with this recipe for my boys. Although asparagus is one of my favorites and my boys have grown to love them just as much. That was not the case when they were little. They hated asparagus, wanted nothing to do with them, and dreaded dinner when I made them.

That is until I wrapped them in tasty hard salami. That is how it started. Pepperoni wrapped was a complete last-minute accident because I ran out of salami. They both taste amazing, and this recipe helped my boys to enjoy asparagus any way I make them now. Very easy and budget-friendly to make using only 2-3 ingredients. Cooks super-fast, you will have a side dish your whole family will enjoy in less than 30 minutes!

Crispy Pepperoni & Salami Asparagus Wraps

Description

In this recipe, I use deli-style hard salami and pepperoni slices and wrap them over asparagus spears. Bake them for 15 minutes in the oven for tasty and crispy asparagus “fries.”


Ingredients

  • One bunch of fresh asparagus
  • Deli-style thin-sliced hard salami and or pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking tray with foil/parchment paper.
  2. Prep asparagus by snapping off ends with a sharp bend. Asparagus will snap in the right spot. You can also chop to trim them all together. Wash, rinse, and dry.
  3. Wrap the lower half of asparagus with salami/pepperoni
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until asparagus is tender and salami/pepperoni is crispy.

Notes

Enjoy fresh out of the oven or warm.
